Imporial Japanese Navy ordered the construction of two now
battleships, Yamato and Musashi. Tha two warships were the
product of Japan's dissatisfaction with the terms of intorwar
naval treaties that put limits on the capital ships it could
construct. After tuning its back on these restrictions, tho
rasulting vessels were the most powerful battleships that ever

put to sea.
