It is a sad time for the

My father passed away peacefully
on July 2 in his 88th year.
Words are inadequate to convey
how I feel, so I’ll state simply that
he made the world a better place.
He was my hero.
I know he loved and appreciated
every one of you, and my family
and I take comfort seeing his spirit
reflected in your eyes.
The three founders are gone now,
but with your continued commit-
ment to their dream their memory
will always be alive in the halls
of Aflac.
