HOW TO FAST
Please observe the following to ensure a united and corporate prayer.
Read the daily devotional thoughts and meditate on the Scriptures.
Take time to seek the Lord. Still your heart to hear His voice. Pray through the Word and for
the items listed.
Adopt an attitude of prayer even as you go about the routine of duties at home, at school or
at work. Pray a lot in tongues.
Scale down your normal activities. Avoid vigorous exercises.
Besides fasting from food, fast from things that will distract you such as television
programmes, computer games etc.
You are free to fast however the Holy Spirit leads you.
Here are some options:
TOTAL FAST PARTIAL FAST
Abstain from solid food for 24 hours. Take Abstain from solid food for an extended
only water. If you wish to continue for part of the day. Take only water. The
more than 21 days, please seek the advice duration of the fast is 12 hours beginning
of your doctor before beginning the fast. from 7 am to 7 pm. Break your fast with a
light snack.
ONE MEAL FAST DANIEL FAST
Sacrifice one full meal a day e.g. lunch, Abstain from meat and other favourite
dinner. The fast should last until the next delicacies. Take only small portions of

24/7 PRAYER STRATEGY FOR MALAYSIA
We are living in times when darkness is increasing in our nation. Our nation is at an important crossroad as
we are seeing changes that do not favour the church and the nation. Last year we experienced controversies
surrounding the “Allah” issue, the MH370 disappearance, the shooting down of MH317 over Ukraine
airspace, and recently, the crashing of Air Asia QZ8501 into the Java Sea. We have also just experienced the
worst floods since 1971. Our nation continues to be in the balance. That is why our spiritual leaders through
Prayer United, which brings together different prayer initiatives, came up with the launching of 24/7 prayer
in our nation. We believe that our nation needs both quality and quantity prayer. The 24/7 prayer initiative
will play a great role in shaping the destiny of our nation into her redemptive purposes. It will also check the
darkness that has been advancing in our nation like a hydra.
As the AG Prayer Commission, we are part of what God is doing and that is why we are part of the 24/7 fasting
and prayer initiative to pray for a major breakthrough. We believe this country should be covered with a net
of 24/7 prayer altars, but for this to happen somebody must pay the price for the 24/7 prayer anointing to be
released.
WHAT IS THE 24/7 PRAYER ALTAR?
The 24/7 prayer altar was first revealed to Moses by God. The bible says in Leviticus 6:12 that the fire on the
altar shall be burning and it shall not be put out. King David also received a revelation to establish a 24/7 altar
known as the TABERNACLE of David. This Tabernacle was about praise, worship and continuous prayer (1
Chronicles 16:37). When David established this continuous praise, worship and prayer, the heavens opened
over Jerusalem. Most of the psalms were written in this atmosphere of open heavens. The psalms revealed
the heart of God and brought forth tremendous revelations. David was able to subdue most of the enemies
of Israel and other nations after establishing the Tabernacle (1 Chronicles 18). David made the nation of Israel
strong. It had been weak and poor in the days of Saul. The secret was when the Tabernacle of David was
established, the presence of God came to abide in Israel.
This is what will happen to our nation Malaysia as we faithfully observe the 24/7 prayer altar. The darkness is
going to be checked and an open heaven will be opened over our nation.
David established the priests to minister in the Tabernacle in watches. For us to have sustained prayer, we
need to develop watches. In Mark13:35 we see JESUS speaking about the different watches which are:
1. Evening 2. Midnight 3. Cock crow 4. The morning watch
These would cover the night, which means that each watch would go on for three hours of prayer.
The day would also have four watches from

All these watches are significant from the scriptures and we shall briefly look at their significance.
We can see that a watch is three hours.
Each watch needs a person to anchor it if it is to have impact.
Watches can have many people but can also have two or three people.

We cover our minds and thoughts with the blood of Jesus. Let the heavens bow at the presence of God (Ps. 68:8).
We cover our doorpost and possessions with the blood of Jesus (Exodus 12:13). Let the heavens praise Your wonders, O Lord (Ps. 89:5).
We overcome the devil through the blood of Jesus (Rev. 12:11). Show Your wonders in the heavens (Joel 2:30).
We sprinkle the blood of Jesus and receive multiplied grace and peace (1 Pet. 1:2). Ride upon the heavens and release Your voice, O Lord (Ps. 68:33).
We are made perfect through the blood of the everlasting covenant (Heb. 13:20–21).
We have boldness to enter into the presence of God through the blood (Heb. 10:19).
Our conscience is purged from dead works to serve the living God through the blood of Jesus (Heb. 9:14).
We have redemption through the blood of Jesus, and we are redeemed from the power of evil (Eph. 1:7).
We rebuke all spirits of torment and fear because we have peace through the blood of Jesus (Col. 1:20).
We receive the benefits of the new covenant through the blood of Jesus (Matt. 26:28).
We receive healing and health through the blood of Jesus.
We receive abundance and prosperity through the blood of Jesus.
We receive deliverance through the blood of Jesus.
We receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the anointing through the blood of Jesus.
The blood of Jesus bears witness to our deliverance and salvation (1 John 5:8).
The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins (1 John 1:7).
Jesus resisted unto blood, and His blood gives us victory (Heb. 12:4).
We rebuke and cast out all spirits of guilt, shame, and condemnation through the blood of Jesus.

Father, I take my position in the heavens in order to wage war against the principalities and powers that
operate against me, my family, the church and this nation in the heavenlies in the name of Jesus.

I break and rebuke every programme in the heavens that would operate against me through the sun, the

I confess this that this is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it, in the name of Jesus.
I decree that all the elements of this day will cooperate with me, in the name of Jesus.
I decree that these elemental forces will refuse to cooperate with my enemies this day, in Jesus’ name.
I pull down every negative energy planning to operate against my life this day, in Jesus’ name.
I dismantle any power that is uttering incantations to capture this day, in the name of Jesus.

Watching over Strategic Days
1-21st March includes Jewish feasts of Purim – contending with Haman/enemies of God’s people and their
survival, full moon, Passover (month of Nissan which is the biblical season of new beginnings). Also there
is 20th March where a full solar eclipse will occur – key events in the heavens which can be used to
programme significant events.

We as watchmen need to possess the gates of this day. The day begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday March 19th,
2015. The scriptures that we will use to pray on this day: Ezekiel 30 – the entire chapter but especially verse

they lie around and dream, they love to sleep. They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough.
They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain.
