ãUWAAAAAA~!ã
ãSO FHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST!ã
ãTravelling via sea is so fu~n!ã
Lily, Faeri, and May played on the ship. They stood against the wind and enjoyed the strong wind rush their whole body.
The shipâs speed on the oceanâs surface after King pulled it was far higher than what Ciel had told them before.
The wind aside, the spray of the water as the ship split the waves was a sight to behold. Almost everyone had chosen to remain on standby inside the ship, but Lily, Faeri, and May had decided to come out and enjoy the combination of the wind and the water.
ãAmazing! Even though the ship is traveling at such speed, the ship isnât shaking at all.ã
ãNyeah! The spirit worldâs technology is amazing!ã
Aria and Vulcan, who had chosen to stay inside the ship, conversed with each other.
The spirit world, otherwise known as Arc, was the place where Cielâs ship had been created. The ship had been created using special materials and technology that eliminated the vibrations it faced when traveling on water.
And that wasnât everything.
The inside of the ship was far off from what anyone could think of a normal ship. Unlike what its outer appearance suggested, it was spacious.
It had a large living room, several bedrooms, a toilet, and a shower room on top of that.
ãJust what kind of a world is the spirit world called Arc, Ciel-sama?ã
ãYou see, itâs a rather strange world. Monsters and humans live together in harmony there, and their magic toolsâ technology is miles away ahead of that in our world.ã
ãThatâs⦠definitely a strange world.ã
ï¼That sounds like a tamer taming a monster, but⦠I guess itâs definitely a world beyond our imagination. After all, they can even create a storage space that can store a living being of King Krakenâs size.ï¼
Tama, who was resting in his favorite placeâbetween Ariaâs twin melons, nodded as he heard Cielâs story.
ãMay I ask a rather rude question, Ciel-samnyan?ã
ãYes, Vulcan?ã
ãHow old are you right now, Ciel-sama? Appearance-wise, you seem like an eighteen-year-old girl, but⦠you said before that you visited Arc a long time ago, right?ã
Vulcan asked purely out of curiosity.
And, the answer she heard wasâ
ãIâm a hundred and eleven years old. I was summoned to Arc around twenty years ago and returned to this world five years after that.ã
It was a shocking piece of information.
ãNya!?ã
Despite Vulcanâs blatant surprise, Ciel continued with her explanation.
ãYou see, Iâm rather special even amongst the rabbit-eared race. My lifespan is longer than normal. Well, itâs thanks to this long lifespan that I can endure traveling to another world.ã
ãN-Nyaa⦠As expected of the one who bears the hero title.ã
Even though May had dropped a bombshell on them when she had said that she was from the future, Aria and Vulcan came to realize that Ciel, the female hero in front of them who had returned from a spirit world, was no less impactful than May.
While they were talking, Stella was taking a nap on the sofa. Cedric had long escaped to another room as soon as they had boarded the ship, saying, ãSorry, but I canât stand the notion of breathing the same air as you women in the same room for a long timeâã.
A few hours laterâ
ãGUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONã
A roar rang out outside the ship. Suddenly, everyone felt that the ship had stopped moving.
ãIt seems King is out of breath. Letâs take a rest for a while.ã
Ciel left her seat after saying those words.
Aria and Tama followed her.
The gentle sea breeze enveloped them as soon as they stepped out on the ship deck.
And maybe it was just as Ciel had said, King Kraken was out of breath.
Even though the tentacles on the ship were still there, Kingâs other tentacles were already spread around on the oceanâs surface as if King were stretching its feet.
ãCome to think of it, itâs the time for lunch. Shall we use this occasion and have lunch in this place?ã
ãNice idea, nyan! Letâs eat the various dishes we brought along while enjoying the sea breeze!ã
Vulcan happily replied to Ariaâs suggestion.
Stella, Faeri, Lily, and May then appeared from inside the ship cabin, seemingly baited by the word âlunchâ and âdishes.â
ãDi⦠shes? How? if my memory serves me right, Aria and the others just brought minimal luggage with them, right?ã
Ciel asked with a curious look on her face.
Hearing that, Aria signaled to Tama with her eyes as she said to Ciel, ãWell, behold.ã
ãNya~n (Roger that, master)!ã
Tama let out an adorable purr as he activated his ãStorageã skill.
And then, tableware such as plates and other kinds of containers such as pots appeared on top of the empty deck.
ãWOOOW! Donât tell me, this is Tama-chanâs skill!?ã
May asked Aria with an excited voice.
ãSuch a surprise! To think that thereâs a creature that can store things in a dimension pocket without magic or an arc ballâ¦ã
Ciel was also surprised, and she looked at Tama with widened eyes.
Seeing that, Tama made a triumphant face in his seat, Ariaâs twin melons.
Cedric also came outside at that moment, maybe because he couldnât stand it anymore.
Thus, the chosen ones who had departed to save the future had lunch as they enjoyed the sea breeze and deepened their relationship.
