"Hehehehe." Hana was linking arms with Clovis as they reached home.
"You're back? It looks like the launch is very successful. You even celebrated without us." Christina chuckled, looking at Hana's state.
Clovis shook his head. "Nope. It's not a celebration. She is like this because of my mall."
"Oh?! Did you open a new shop today?" Christina squinted her eyes. She had noticed Hana's change, so she had been wanting to ask.
Since Clovis had initiated the topic, there was no way she would stop.
"Yeah."
"What kind of shop was it?"
Instead of Clovis, Hana was the one answering her question. "It's a beauty salon. Can't you see all this? By the way, the effect lasts for one week."
"What?" Christina blinked a few times. Clovis could see that Christina had started looking at him as if he were her prey.
Clovis sighed. "Don't worry. I'll let you in one by one to test it. But it's not just one store. I also opened a sports store and a department store. For the time being, I'd emptied out the sports store. Tomorrow will be the department store. We'll gradually replace all the furniture with the ones from the mall."
"Are they all that good?" Christina asked.
"It's pretty much going to be a home filled with artifacts." Hana smiled. "In fact, thanks to them, I'm going to live here. Is there any room left?"
"That good?" Christina crossed her arms. "If you ask whether there's a room left or not, then the answer is yes. But are you sure you want to live in this house?"
"Yes." She nodded furiously. "While it's true that this place is a bit farther from my workplace, the mansion is going to be better to the point that distance can be fully ignored."
"I see. Well, should I show you your room? You are going to help me prepare the bedding." Christina pointed to the back.
"Of course, of course." Hana waved her hand to Clovis before following Christina.
Meanwhile, Clovis immediately went around the house to give all the things he had bought earlier.
Obviously, as a well-known training maniac, Jay was the first person on his mind.
"Jay. Take this." Clovis gave him a polo shirt, pants, shoes, and a headband. "I'll send you their descriptions."
Jay tilted his head in confusion. "What are they?"
However, his doubt turned into desire the moment he saw the description. "Are you serious? These are all from the items?"
Clovis nodded. "I'm sure you'll like it."
"Of course. There's no way I can reject something like this." Jay pumped his fist, getting excited. He could imagine the impact on his training.
"Anyway, I'm going to hand over the rest to our team." Clovis just walked away without waiting for him to reply.
As expected, all the members except for Kanaria and Melody liked the clothes. They would be able to improve themselves even faster by wearing them.
Unfortunately, Kanaria and Melody planned to use the Soul Weapon, so there was no need for training clothes.
Still, they accepted it in case they wanted to practice shooting from time to time.
There was another great impact that struck the mansion. Hana ended up telling everyone about the salon, which caused the ladies to demand it from Clovis.
In the end, Clovis ran away to the most obvious place where he could get his peace.
He could hear the sizzling sound of the oil from the kitchen.
Rin was cooking alone in the kitchen. Most of the time, she didn't like anyone messing with her food, so she kicked them out when they tried to help.
That was why this was the only place that could shelter him.
"Hmm?" Rin turned her head around. "What are you doing? I need you to get out right now."
Clovis smiled wryly. "Please save me. If I get out, I'm going to die."
Rin frowned. "What the hell did you do? Now that I look at you, you look a bit different."
"Well, they are trying to get the new store."
"Mhmm. It's just a new store." Rin nodded in understanding. While holding the frying pan, she headed to his table and grabbed a plate before pouring everything onto the plate. "Try some."
"Yeah. Thank you." Clovis nodded. "By the way, there are sports clothes that you can use to make your training even more effective."
"Is that the new store?"
"Yes, but they're trying to get into the mall for another new store. The salon." Clovis casually nodded and took a small bite of the food. "As expected of you, it's delicious. How can you make something this delicious?"
"It's just the usual." Rin shrugged, treating it as not a big deal. She first washed her hands.
"Oh? You're done? Let me help you bring all this to the table." Clovis wiped the sauce at the corner of his lip.
"Before that!" Rin raised her voice and put her hands on the table and surrounded Clovis so that he couldn't escape.
"What are you trying to do?" Clovis' eyebrows.
"Since you have eaten my food, don't you think you need to repay me?"
"…" It looked like Clovis couldn't really escape. Rin was the same as the others.
"How do you do? Have you gotten accustomed to living here? Have you sent a message to your father?"
"Don't talk nonsense. I'm not homesick whatsoever." Rin scoffed.
"I know, I know. I will let you in." Clovis sighed. "Well, Hana got the quota today. So we can discuss it tomorrow. Besides, it's time to discuss military training. Let's go, shall we?"
Rin squinted her eyes. She was a bit disappointed with the result, but she said nothing more.
"Very well." Rin gracefully turned around and started bringing the plates.
In the end, none of them could resist the allure. It reminded him of the opportunity Blue had mentioned earlier.
'I guess I'm counting on that second ticket, Blue. At this rate, I'm going to die.' Clovis sighed. The problem was not their greed for beauty. It was the fact that he had to be in the mall while they were in the salon.
